Spencer is a founding Director of Stellar, having established the company after an extensive career at Chevron. Spencer’s expertise includes the development of unique marketing strategies for Stellar’s clients & assistance in all aspects of acquisition & divestment processes. During his career, Spencer has worked many petroleum basins globally with notable experience throughout Africa & Latin America where he has been involved in many very substantial acquisition & divestment projects.
In his spare time, Spencer is a keen sailor & enjoys sailing around European waters as regularly as he can.
Dave Fassom
Director
Dave is a founding Director of Stellar & provides clients with a wealth of industry & transactional experience. During many years of industry experience at BP, Tenneco, PetroFina & latterly at Stellar, Dave has executed several $billion of upstream transactions with notable expertise throughout the North Sea & wider European region.
Dave can regularly be found playing golf, including playing rounds on some of the UK’s most prestigious golf courses.
Tom Perkins
Director
Tom has delivered several high value transactions for clients, with notable experience in the UK North Sea, Africa & Latin America. Tom is also a regular speaker at industry events, typically providing commentary on the acquisition & divestment landscape for various regions. Tom plays a pivotal role in Stellar’s business development activities & developing bespoke marketing strategies for clients.
Outside of work, Tom is a keen distance runner having completed over 10 marathons, including representing his athletics club on the London Marathon Championship start line.
Gary Laing
Director
Gary provides clients with high-quality advice on the marketing of exploration, development & production assets. Gary has undertaken extensive acquisition & divestment advisory work in many global basins, including significant experience throughout Central Asia, Africa & the Caribbean. He enjoys deploying his subsurface expertise to meet the challenges of marketing upstream oil & gas assets & companies.
Gary is an avid football fan & tries to get to Ibrox Stadium to watch his beloved Rangers FC as often as he can.
